Wide awake

Currently lying on the bed waiting for my curly hair to dry.

Recently my transition from super straight hair girl to curly hair auntie wasn't that too well received in office. Many young boys commented that I turned auntie overnight.

But, I love my new hair! At least its something different from the usual short, straight hair which i had it for almost 5 years.

This curly hair however burnt a small hole in my pocket. Beside spending $140 on it, I bought hair products to style it everyday (and to my horror style wrongly because i need to wet my hair before applying them, which i didn't). Then I suddenly realised (after 2 in office told me i got bald spots) that I might be turning bald. So while visiting the doctor for sore throat last week, I told him my sad story of going bald.

Don't know whether lucky star is shining on me or not. It turns out that doc was trained in Aesthetic Medicine. Doc gave me some medicine to apply on my bald spot and hair vitamins to take which costed me another $135.

Which i later went back to complain to my hair stylist, who told me that I am not going bald. He doesn't feel that I am losoing lots of hair. All along, my hair is belongs to the fine and thin category.

Call me kiasu but I still need to continue the treatment for a minimum 3 months to see any effect. *Horror. Need to set aside 135 x 3.*

By the way, I am still not excited over the NYC trip. Funny.

Looking forward to "Phantom of the Opera" this weekend.
