Means "Haolian" (Hokkien) or Proud, High Class in English.
Haha. I like this adjective!
When somene call you ATAS, it means that you are almost there. You are likely to be an "in" lady, a fashionista who wears nothing but branded, carry nothing but branded bags (Le Sport Sac cannot be considered). Likely to speak english with a slight accent and likes to mix around with other similar ATAS friend. She most likely have the the "it" bag of every season. If she is not a tai tai, she would be a Tai Tai wannabe. May look down on people who are not ATAS.
Recently, someone (K)whom I only seen a few times (less than 5) was very enthusiatic to meet me. This lady was the ATAS good friend of Ms S. Why is Ms K so keen to meet me? Hmm..... (Danger alert!)
